About

This project is being undertaken as I continue to grow my own interest and knowledge of communications theories and the comedy news space within the United States and Canada. I offer this project as something that may peak other peoples’ interests, and perhaps as a portfolio piece for myself as I continue to advance my knowledge, and work towards becoming an expert in an unusual field of communications. This project intends to cover topics such as comedy news, satirical articles, podcasting, comedians, music, and political comedy in all other forms.

The ultimate questions being: Is comedy news good? and Is comedy an effective way to relay information or to protest?

This project aims to be a culmination of my work in this area, and to share what I’ve learned with others. I aim to provide analysis and opinion on comedy in communications, using communication theory, literature, public opinion, and statistics.
